Role Purpose

The WASH Coordinator shall be responsible for working on all details of project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all related WASH aktivitesi in Shafak.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

· Reports to: Program Director

· Supervision:All WASH Program Team

· Budget responsibility: TBD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Developing the strategic plan of the WASH program with cooperation with WASH program staff, and ensuring that plan is consistent with organization strategic objectives.

· Supervising WASH program activities including designing of the projects and ensuring all activities comply with WASH program objectives.

· Supervising the progress of the projects and ensuring that the project activities comply with initial design.

· Supervising (with cooperation with HR department) employees hiring, performance management, and train staff to effectively serve their roles.

· Oversee the Liaison with Shafak technical units on the design of key components of the project and the training of staff and local partners in technical skills.

· Attending all workshop, meetings, that belong the WASH program.

· Help establish a monitoring and evaluation system with the cooperation of MEAL department, including tools, and training staff and partners to monitor field level activities, adapting the project as needed to increase project impact.

· Submit periodic WASH program reports to the Program Director.

· Follow and implement any new procedure and guidelines in circulars from Shafakheadquarter.

· Organize regularly evaluation meeting of team members.

· Ensure that lesson best practices derived through.

· Implementation of project are well articulated and documented.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

· Degree in civil engineering, water engineering, or related courses;

· At least 3 years of experience in project implementation and construction, preferably in an international context;

· At least 3 years of experience in water supply, water quality, sanitation, and related fields;

· Experience in Greenfield sites preferred.

· Experience in refugee camp situations preferred.
Arabic language preferred.

· Rapid deployment required.
